So I started reading this book with a group of young married women. We go through a chapter every other week and then discuss it. I am about 80% through this book and so far it has been incredibly helpful. It is geared toward women who seek to deepen and strengthen their relationship with their husband. For example, this last chapter that I read, chapter 8, was talking about submission. I know that this is oftentimes a heated topic, but when looked at biblically it can be a truly beautiful one. My favorite aspect of this book is the introspective questions that she asks the reader. She makes the reader really consider how they are doing spiritually and I’ve found this very convicting. She also has questions that you can either fill out or have your husband fill out. For some of the questions, I’ve been surprised at how Karl has answered them.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with their spouse. I encourage you to take the time to read this book. Oh, and did I mention that it’s under 100 pages?
