Hello all I hope you had a wonderful October. As we move into November I wanted to start something together. So my challenge for you all is to list 5 things you are grateful for and then one person a day. Many of us know how important gratitude is and I want all of us to cultivate it in our lives. Come and Join!
There are so many places in the Bible that we are commanded to show gratitude. All over the Psalms we are told to Praise the Lord and give thanks to Him. Because gratitude in actuality is simply acknowledgement. When we are thankful to God we are actually acknowledging His work in our life.
Even unbelievers know how important it is to be thankful; so why aren’t we as Christians even more thankful? We have a personal relationship with our God who created everything.
The Bible is our greatest source of gratitude in this life because it is literally God’s very word to us. Everywhere in scripture we are commanded to be thankful and to have gratitude for the things God has given us. As Christians we acknowledge that we don’t deserve anything; we don’t deserve our very breath that God has given us.
Hopefully all of us have this attitude throughout the year, but I think that November can be a month that really helps solidify this routine. So I want to challenge all of us to really think about what we’re thankful for every day this month. I made this printable for you so that we can write down five things every day that we are thankful for and then one person as well. And throughout that day I want you to pray for that person, keep them on your heart and let them know you’re thinking about them.
So as Christian women in this materialistic world we live in today let’s be a different people.
